Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced Material Handler to support the safe and efficient movement of parts and materials throughout our manufacturing operation.
This role is responsible for organizing incoming and existing parts, locating and moving materials to assigned areas, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of stand-up forklift experience, a valid forklift licence, and strong organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize incoming and existing parts within assigned departments.
- Locate parts and move them safely to designated work areas.
- Maintain organized and safe storage areas for parts and materials.
- Operate stand-up and counterbalance forklifts safely.
- Follow material handling instructions and established procedures.
- Support the efficient flow of materials between departments.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating a stand-up forklift.
- Valid forklift licence is required.
- Experience operating both stand-up and counterbalance forklifts.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow instructions and established procedures.
- Good verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
Preferred Attributes
- Previous material handling experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Experience moving metal parts or materials in a production setting.
- Familiarity with inventory organization and material flow.
Schedule & Pay Details
- Shift: Day (6:00 AM - 2:00 PM)
- Location: Port Coquitlam, BC
- Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
- Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
- Work Location: In person
